Terms and conditions
The agreement between your business and us when you use Statically.
About these terms
These terms are between Syon Creative Ltd, trading as Statically ("we", "us"), and the agency or freelancer who opens an account ("you"). Statically is a business service and is not offered to consumers. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
Your account
- You are responsible for everyone you invite, including your clients, and for keeping sign-in details secure.
- You must give us accurate business and billing details and keep them up to date.
Your sites and content
- You and your clients own your templates, content and media. You give us permission to host, build and publish them to provide the service.
- You are responsible for what your sites publish and for having the rights to it.
- You can export a site’s files and content at any time.
Acceptable use
You must not use Statically for anything unlawful, to publish harmful or infringing material, to send spam, or to try to get round the platform’s limits or security. We may suspend a site that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.
Fees and billing
- Sites in development are free. Each live site is charged at the price shown on our pricing page, currently £15 per site per month, ex VAT.
- You can pay monthly or annually, in advance. UK VAT is added to every invoice.
- We bill you, not your clients.
- We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
Cancelling
You can unpublish a site or close your account at any time. Billing for a site stops at the end of the current billing period, and we don’t refund partial periods. After you close your account we keep your data for [period] so you can export it, and then we delete it.
Availability and support
We work to keep Statically and the sites on it available, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service. Published sites are served by Cloudflare and keep working if the Statically platform is briefly unavailable.
Data protection
For personal data collected through your sites, you are the controller and we are the processor. Our data processing agreement forms part of these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your own account data.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will tell you at least 30 days before a significant change takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
